Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen could easily have gotten himself sent off during Galatasaray’s 1-1 draw against Besiktas on Saturday.
Osimhen started for the Cimbom, in what was unarguably the biggest game in the Super Lig this season.
Galatasaray, who had won all their first seven games of the season, were expected to grab another win and make it eight in a row.
However, they were pegged back early, courtesy of a goal from Besiktas’ Tammy Abraham.
Things even got worse for the reigning Turkish champions, as Davinson Sanchez got sent off in the 34th minute because of a bad challenge. That incident heated up the game which was already on fire at the time.

Just six minutes later, Osimhen was engaged in fisticuffs with Besiktas’ number 39 player David Jurasek.
The Super Eagles star was not happy with the way he was tackled close to the corner, and he showed it by grabbing Jurasek’s shirt.
Then, the Besiktas man started pushing Osimhen back in an aggressive manner. It took the intervention of the referee and their teammates to end the altercation.
Osimhen escaped with a yellow card. But it could have been worse if he actually hit the Besiktas player.

Galatasaray’s game against Besiktas eventually ended in a 1-1 draw, as Ilkay Gundogan scored the equalizer in the second half.
Victor Osimhen had 86 minutes of action before he was taken off for Mauro Icardi.
So now, he will be focused on the international break with Nigeria. The Super Falcons have games lined up against Lesotho and Benin in the next two weeks, and Osimhen will be expected to play an important role for the team.
