Premier League giants Manchester United are weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid midfielder Conor Gallagher in January, SportPremi reports.
The Red Devils are looking to get in reinforcements in the middle of the park due to their struggles this season.
Their main target during the summer transfer window was Carlos Baleba, but the transfer did not work out due to Brighton’s astronomical financial demands.
Now, Manchester United are looking at other options. In recent weeks, Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton has been mentioned a lot.
But according to TalkSport, Gallagher is an option that Manchester United are looking to explore.
The England international has not enjoyed life at Atletico Madrid this season, as he has made most of his appearances from from bench.
Coach Diego Simeone has preferred to use 33-year-old Koke as his main starter, with Gallagher having to play second fiddle.
