Morocco dominated the award ceremony, claiming the top honors in both the men’s and women’s category, as well as in some other categories.

Paris Saint Germain and Morocco right-back Achraf Hakimi claimed bragging rights in the men’s player of the year category, beating Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah and Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen to the award, while Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak won the award in the female category.
