AC Milan moved to the top of the Italian Serie A standings ahead of other match-day 16 fixtures with a comfortable 3-0 win over relegation-threatened Hellas Verona, SportPremi Reports.

Christopher Nkunku was the star of the show as he netted a brace, while Christian Pulisic was also on the scoresheet to power the Rossoneri to a fourth win in their last five matches.
They move up to first on the standings with 35 points, two more than second placed Inter Milan who face Atalanta later in the day.
Pulisic and Nkunku star in big AC Milan win
Nigerian forward Gift Orban had netted twice in Hellas Verona’s last league match, but started the clash against AC Milan on the bench.
The hosts dominated proceedings as expected, but were unable to breakdown a resilient Verona defence, who were hoping to secure a shock result.
The breakthrough did come before halftime through Pulisic, who netted his ninth league goal of the season after a flick on by Rabiot.
The advantage was doubled two minutes after the restart through Nkunku who scored from the penalty spot after a foul in the box.
Luka Modric was then denied by the post, before Nkunku pounced on the rebound to score his second and AC Milan’s third of the match.
Orban who had come on at halftime thought he had gotten a consolation for Verona, but the strike was ruled out for offside by the assistant referee
The match ended 3-0 in favor of the home side who moved to the summit of the standings, while Hellas Verona remain in 18th spot.
