Mozambique took a shock lead in the first half through Geny Catamo, but Cameroon hit back through an unlucky own goal by Nene.

First half: Cameroon hit back after shock Mozambique lead
Cameroon headed into the clash hoping to better Ivory Coast’s result against Gabon in order to finish top of the group.
However, they fell behind in the 23rd minute as Geny Catamo opened the scoring for Mozambique, who were also looking to top the group with a win.
The Indomitable Lions were behind for just six minutes as they grabbed a lucky equalizer when Nene inadvertently put the ball into his own net.
Christian Kofane then scored for Cameroon, but the strike was ruled out for offside as the first half ended 1-1
Second half: Kofane nets winner for Cameroon
Cameroon started the half on top and went ahead after 10 minutes as the dangerous Kofane fired into the back of the net off the post.
Etta-Eyong could have increased the lead, but his effort was brilliantly blocked as it looked to be heading for the back of the net.
Mozambique almost snatched an equalizer in stoppage-time, but Cameroon’s Devis Epassy denied Ivane Urrubal’s header.
The game ended 2-1 in favour of Cameroon, but they missed out on first place in the group to Ivory Coast.
