However, he continued his brilliant start to life and made it six goal contributions from six games for his new side.
Alexander Sorloth (2) and Giuliano Simeone were also on the scoresheet for Atletico Madrid, while Jofre Carreras and Edu Esposito scored for the visitors.

It looked as if the run would continue when Jofre opened scoring for the visitors in the sixth minute with a good finish past Jan Oblak.
However, Sorloth pulled one back for the home side with a clean goal, guiding the ball into rhe net after an assist from Antoine Griezmann.
The Norwegian went close once more, while Atletico also had other chances to take the lead for the first time in the clash but could not put the ball into the net as the first half ended 1-1.
They second goal finally came as Simeone got on the end of a fine team play and fired into the back of the net.
Lookman then joined in on the act, heading home at the back post after Matteo Ruggeri had flicked a corner kick into his path.
Sorloth then scored his second of the game with a superb header after an equally brilliant cross from Ruggeri, before Esposito grabbed a consolation for Espanyol.
