The Nigerian and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is out for at least a month after a thigh strain in the Champions League win over English side Liverpool.
Osimhen bullied Jurgen Klopp’s side the on Tuesday Champions League night, but it will cost him at least 4-8 weeks out of games.
Before the match against LiverPool, the Nigerian star complained of muscle pain, but Spalletti still took the risk and started him against English giant LiverPool, He renewed the injury and therefore had to be replaced in the 41st minute.
“As scheduled, Victor Osimhen underwent diagnostic tests this morning which revealed a second-degree injury to his right hamstring.
“The blue striker had already started carrying out therapies yesterday,”

What Next:
The injury means that Victor Osimhen will miss Napoli’s next Serie A fixture against Spezia on Saturday, September 10, 2022 and the Champions League.
Victor Osimhen is also expected to miss the next Nigeria game, where the West African giants are expected to face fellow African rival Algeria in an international friendly on September 27.
He could return to the field on October 12 at the earliest for the match against Ajax in the elite European competition.
