Nuno Espirito Santo is eager to begin his tenure at West Ham United with a victory, ahead of the club’s clash against Everton on Monday.

The Portuguese was appointed by the club’s hierarchy last weekend following the dismissal of Graham Potter after a poor run of form.
The Englishman had won only six of his 25 matches in charge and had suffered four defeats from five matches before his departure.
Espirito Santo, meanwhile, also parted ways with Nottingham Forest earlier this season, after falling out with club owner Evangelos Marikanis.
However, as he prepares to take charge of his first game at the club later tonight against Everton, the Portuguese admitted the need to hit the ground running at the club.
“I’m trying to, as soon as possible, know all the players,” he told West Ham TV.
“I think I know them better than they know me, because it’s like that. We are coaches and we try to take all the info that we can about the players.
Many of them, we faced each other before and now it’s preparing for the game, a tough game against Everton”, he continued.
“Now it’s a new beginning for everybody. It’s a new process that we really have to know, and we find out who we are and what we want to be.
“First of all, we have to realise who we are, and then we can create an identity. But first of all, we have to know each other really, really well.
“The supporters are very important, very important. That’s why I truly believe what we want to achieve is a platform”, Nuno revealed.
Nuno eyes victory on debut
Nuno Espirito Santo has overtime proven his quality as a top coach in the Premier League, with successful spells at different clubs.
Last season, he led Nottingham Forest to an European finish at the end of the campaign, but a fallout with the club owner prompted his dismissal from the club.
Now set for a new beginning at West Ham United, he will be looking to start his tenure with a win, but face a tough clash against a resurgent Everton team.
