Reigning African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, expressed satisfaction with his performance against AC Milan on Tuesday but admitted there is still room for improvement, SportPremi reports.

The Atalanta forward netted his first goal of the 2025-26 campaign, scoring the equalizer in the 1-1 draw against AC Milan on Tuesday night.
It also marked the first time he has found the back of the net since May, following his return to the team after a transfer saga in the summer.
Tale of the match
Both sides headed into the clash in contrasting form as Atalanta had recorded four consecutive draws in all competitions, while Milan had won six of their last seven matches.
La Dea were also unbeaten in their last five matches against the Rossoneri, highlighting their stronghold on the fixture in recent outings.
The visitors started brightly and took the lead inside the first four minutes through Samuele Ricci, who netted his first goal for the club.

A clearance from a corner kick fell into the midfielder, who rifled home a effort that deflected past the Atalanta goalkeeper to give Milan a 1-0 advantage.
Atalanta grew into the game, but could not get past Mike Maignan, who made some crucial saves, while other efforts were off target.
They got their deserved equalizer before halftime, when Lookman received a pass from Pasalic and fired into the net to make the scores 1-1.
It was the Nigerian’s superstar fourth goal against AC Milan, making him Atalanta’s highest goal scorer in the fixture.
Both teams traded chances in the second half, but were unable to add to the scoreline as the game ended in a stalemate.
It marked a fifth successive draw for Atalanta, while Milan dropped points for a second consecutive game following last week’s shock draw against newly-promoted Pisa.
La Dea are eighth on the standings with 13 points, five behind AC Milan in second place as the battle for the title intensifies.
What Lookman said after the match
After several weeks of getting back to full fitness, Lookman showed signs of top form with an impressive display on Tuesday night.
Speaking after the match, the Super Eagles was impressed with his display and acknowledged the need to do more for his side.
“It was important to be available to the team again,” Lookman said after the match.
“I hope to get even more fit. It took me a while, but now we have to grow and aim to win the next few games.
“When I’m on the pitch, the most important thing is to help the team win.”
Atalanta will be in action next Saturday, when they face off against Udinese as they hope to get a first win in six games.
