Brentford started the clash on top and almost went ahead, but Mikel Damsgaard fired over from a brilliant position.

However, they got their goal minutes later as Keane Lewis-Potter’s cross was attacked by Michael Kayode and headed into the net.

The Bees doubled their lead in the 37th minute as Igor Thiago continued his impressive form this season with another striker, before he hit the post with another effort moments later.

Wolves halved the deficit heading into the break through Adam Armstong, as they went into the break with a 2-1 scoreline.

Arokodare was introduced and he headed home the leveller three minutes after coming on. The striker could have had a second minutes later, but his header struck the crossbar, denying Wolves the chance to go ahead in the clash.

Arokodare reacts to missed chance against Brentford

While speaking after the contest, Arokodare who netted only his third Premier League goal of the season, was frustrated by the missed chance which could have helped his side to a comeback win.

“It was a very good cross from {Jackson} Tchatchoua but I was quite unlucky because I hit the post. He was also unlucky in the second because he hit the post”, Arokodare revealed.

“It would have been great if those two chances went in but we will take the point because we started the game not as we wanted it, with two goals down, but we ended it well.”

The Nigerian forward also revealed the message he was given by Wolves coach Rob Edwards ahead of his introduction.

“He said I should go and try and score because we are getting a lot of chances and crosses and we needed a presence,” Arokodare said.

“My job was to come help him and I am glad I was able to score.”

Wolves will now have a lengthy break before returning to league action against West HaM United on April 10.
