English Premier League club Arsenal have been dealt a big blow, as star forward Bukayo Saka is set for a four-week spell on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.

Saka looked lively for the Gunners in their 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United on Saturday. He even scored a beautiful goal just before the stroke of halftime.

However, he had to be taken out of the game in the 53rd minute as he could not continue due to a severe pain in his thigh area.

At first, it looked like a hamstring, as he was clutching the back of his thigh. But he had to undergo a scan to confirm the extent of the injury.

The results are now out, and it has been confirmed that the English midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury and will be out of action for up to four weeks.

Over the past two years, Saka has struggled with muscle injury, and this latest hamstring problem can be added to that list.

Why Bukayo Saka’s Injury Is A Big Problem

Bukayo Saka’s latest hamstring injury comes at a really bad time for him. Although the season just started, Arsenal have a tough run of games coming up.

The Gunners play Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, and Newcastle United in their next four games. These are Champions League and Premier League title contenders

In Saka’s absence, coach Mikel Arteta will hope that the other wingers like Gabriel Martinelli, Noni Madueke, Leandro Trossard, and new signing Eberechi Eze deliver.
