Samuel Chukwueze scored on his return to action for Fulham in their 2-1 comeback win over Brighton and Hove Albion in a dramatic Premier League encounter on Saturday, SportPremi Reports.

The Nigerian winger had missed several weeks of action due to international commitments at the recently concluded 2025 African Cup of Nations tournament, but scored the equalizer for the Cottagers minutes after Yasin Ayari had given the Seagulls a first half lead.
Harry Wilson scored a stunning late free kick to complete the comeback as Fulham bounced back from last weekend’s defeat to Leeds United.
Chukwueze shines in Fulham’s late comeback win
Alex Iwobi was in from the start for Fulham, while Calvin Bassey and Chukwueze started on the bench after returning to the club from the 2025 AFCON tournament.
The hosts started brightly and had several attempts off target in the opening exchanges, before the visitors grabbed the lead with their first shot of the game.
Ayari was given too much space and he fired in a powerful shot that went into the net despite the best efforts of Bernd Leno as Brighton took a 1-0 lead.
The lead almost became two but Castagne was on hand to clear an effort from Kadioglu as the away side took the lead into the break.
Marco Silva then brought on Chukwueze in search of an equalizer in the second half and the Super Eagles star delivered, scoring a fine goal in the 72nd minute to level the scores.
Danny Welbeck then put Brighton back in front two minutes later, but it was chalked off for offside against the England striker in the buildup.
The game was heading towards a stalemate until Fulham’s main man Harry Wilson struck a late free kick to snatch the win for his side.
The win moves the Cottagers up to seventh on the standings and just two points off top four, although they have played a game more than the three teams above them.
Brighton, meanwhile, are 12th on the standings with 30 points after their seventh defeat of the season.
