Frank Onyeka says he is ready for action as he prepares to make his debut for Coventry City against Middlesbrough on Monday night, SportPremi reports.

The Sky Blues host Boro in the Championship top of the table clash on Monday, as the race for promotion to the Premier League intensifies.
Coventry had lost their position at the top after a couple of poor results and trail by two points with 15 matches to play.
Onyeka, who joined the club on loan until the end of the season from Brentford during the winter transfer window could make his long-awaited debut, after he was given time away for last week’s clash against Oxford United.
The Super Eagles midfielder missed the clash due to the birth of his second child, but is in line to make his first appearance for the club in this clash.
What Onyeka said ahead of Middlesbrough clash
Speaking during the pre-match press conference ahead of the clash, the Nigerian midfielder hailed Middlesbrough’s quality, but says his side will be ready to get maximum points.
“It’s obviously a big game and whoever wins will be top”, Onyeka revealed.
“We will just focus on ourselves. We know it will be a very intense game so we are training well to make sure we are ready for the game.
“I think we are all different type of players. We bring different qualities to the team, for me it’s just about settling in with the boys. I bring experience to the team and try to bring intensity”, the 28-year-old added.
“I appreciate the fans’ welcome and I can’t wait to give everything for the squad and the fans.”
The experienced midfielder also reflected on his decision to join Coventry City, despite several offers from other clubs during the transfer window.
“My agent told me about it [the interest] in early January, but I was just focusing on AFCON, so we didn’t speak much about it”, Onyeka continued.
“And then, I think two weeks before the deadline, I had a call with Frank Lampard, and that’s when everything started.
“I spoke to him and could see that the club is going in the right direction, the club is going up, and it was something I wanted. Also, for family reasons, I want to stay close to them, and a lot of challenges like this. So that was the reason I chose Coventry over other clubs”, he concluded.
Meanwhile, Coventry City head coach Frank Lampard revealed that Onyeka will play a role in Monday night’s crucial clash against Middlesbrough after returning to the club.
“Yeah, he’s ready to go. He had a couple of days off, had the baby on Sunday/Monday, so yeah, he’s training with us”, Lampard stated.
“It’s good to have a little bit of training time for him before we start to look at the game on Monday.”
