Frank Onyeka scored his first goal for Coventry City as they claimed a hard-fought 3-2 win over Derby County to move closer to promotion to the Premier League.

The Super Eagles midfielder joined the Sky Blues during the winter transfer window on loan from Brentford by until the end of the season and has been really impressive so far.
The 28-year-old opened his account with a superb goal to break the deadlock, before Jack Rudoni added two more goals for his side, while Brereton Diaz scored both of Derby’s goals.
Coventry City are now up to 83 points on the standings, 11 points ahead of second-placed Millwall, with six games to go this season.
Onyeka stars, Rudoni scores double in Coventry win
Coventry City went into the clash hoping to extend their lead at the top of the standings as they edged closer to automatic promotion, while Derby County were looking to move closer to reaching the playoffs.
Onyeka broke the deadlock in the 12th minute with a spectacular curling effort past the Rams goalkeeper. The Nigerian midfielder had won possession and played a one-two with Romain Esse, before hitting the stunner into the top corner.
The visitors equalized later in the half as Matt Clarke made a driving run forward and delivered a superb cross, which has headed into the back of the net by Diaz.
Rudoni came on for Coventry in the second half and made instant impact five minutes after his introduction with the goal to put them back ahead.
Goalkeeper Rushworth was then adjudged to have brought down Diaz in the box, allowing the Chilean to score the equalizer from the spot-kick.
However, Coventry would have the last say in the clash as Rudoni grabbed his second of the match with a neat finish at the near post to make it 3-2.
The Sky Blues sealed the win and edged closer to securing a return to the Premier League since the 2000-01 season.

Coventry City will return to action on Monday night when they face Hull City, hoping for a win to continue their race to finish top of the Championship standings.
