Leicester City have completed the signing of Nigerian midfielder Joe Aribo from Southampton on loan till the end of the season, SportPremi reports.

As we reported earlier that the 29-year-old was on the verge of a move to the Foxes, he has now completed medicals and has signed his contract at the club, keeping him until the end of the season.
Aribo joined the Saints in 2022 from Scottish side Rangers and went on to make 111 appearances for the club, although he has rarely been used this season.
He was already out of favour at the Saints and had been limited to just seven appearances in the EFL Championship, despite the club already playing 30 times.
The Super Eagles midfielder is out of contract in the summer and could extend his stay at Leicester if he impresses in his six-month stint.
What Aribo said after completing Leicester loan move
Leicester City earlier today announced the arrival of Aribo in a statement released on the club’s website.
“We are pleased to confirm the loan signing of versatile midfielder Joe Aribo from Southampton until the end of the 2025/26 season, subject to league approval”, the club statement revealed.
Meanwhile, Aribo expressed excitement at the challenge and is ready to help the club achieve its goals for the season.
“For me, it’s amazing to have got it done and I just can’t wait to get going. I’ve always known the squad is good. I’m so certain [about] where we can get to and what we can do together. It’s just good to be a part of it”, Aribo stated.
The 29-year-old could make his Leicester City debut against Birmingham City next Saturday, as the Foxes hope to end their four-game winless run.
