Ademola Lookman is confident that Atletico Madrid can secure a positive result when they face Barcelona away in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.

Both sides meet for the second time in the space of five days, as they battle to reach the semifinal of the Champions League.
Barcelona edged their last meeting 2-1 when they faced on Saturday in the La Liga, which increased their gap at the top of the standings to seven points.

However, Atletico Madrid edged the tie 4-3 on aggregate when they faced in the Copa del Rey semifinal this year, taking a remarkable 4-0 win in the first leg.
What Lookman said ahead of crucial Barcelona clash
Ademola Lookman, who joined Atletico during the winter transfer window and has enjoyed a good start to his career at the club, is confident his side can hurt Barcelona to advance from the Champions League quarter-final clash.
The Super Eagles forward was on target in Atletico’s 4-0 win in their Copa del Rey semifinal first leg clash and will be eyeing another goalscoring outing on Wednesday.
“About Barcelona’s quality, of course, massive, massive club, massive team, a lot of quality inside the team”, Lookman said.
“We won 4-0 at home (in the Copa del Rey) and the result of the away match was that, and we’re through to the final. There’s a lot to take away from both games, home and away. We’ve obviously learned from that and we’re still learning from that.
“I think Atlético is a massive, massive club on all fronts. I noticed that before I came here and obviously being here, it’s a lot bigger and right in your face.
“The squad is full of amazing players, quality. We want to compete, and we’ll compete on all fronts, in three different competitions, which is credit to everybody here, credit to the staff, credit to the players, credit to the mentality here. The mentality is to win as much as we can, win the games that are in front of us”, Lookman concluded.
Atletico Madrid and Barcelona face-off on Wednesday, before meeting once again in the return leg next week, with the winner set to face Arsenal or Sporting Lisbon in the semifinals.
