NPFL Match Day 26 Results:

Enyimba 3 – 0 Gombe United

Enyimba of Aba defeated Gombe United by three goals, All three goals were scored in the first half.

The first goal was scored by Emeka Obioma in the 6th minute, and then Obioma doubled the lead in the 16th minute, making it his 10th goal in the season.

Cyriel Oliseme scored the third goal in the 29th minute to put the game beyond reach.

For the first time in his career, Mbaoma has scored more than 10 goals in a single NPFL season.

He has now taken his total NPFL goal tally to 46 goals

What Next: Enyimba will take on Akwa United away from home while Gombe United will host Sunshine Stars.

Niger Tornadoes 2 – 1 Kano Pillars

Kano Pillars bad form continues as Niger Tornadoes came from behind to defeat Kano Pillars

Rabiu Ali scored a sublime free kick in the 5th minute, but the goal wasn’t enough as Jonas Emmanuel scored an equalizer in the 52nd minute.

Kano Pillars conceded a penalty in the 90th minute, and Musa Wakli scored the penalty neatly.

What Next: Niger Tornadoes will take on Shooting Stars away from home while Kano Pillars will complete NPFL Matchday 25 outstanding game against Sunshine Stars.

Dakkada FC 1 – 0 Plateau United

Dakkada Won against league title contenders Plateau United

Udom Ekerette scored the only goal of the game in the 61st minute, Dakkada are now one point above relegation zone.

MFM 0 – 0 Enugu Rangers

Bottom-placed team MFM was held at home by fourth-place Enugu Rangers.

MFM had a chance to score in the 88th minute of the game, but the Rangers’ goalkeeper saved Oladayo Alabi’s free kick.

What Next: MFM will travel away from home to complete their match day 25 match against Abia Warriors, while Enugu Rangers will host the relegated threatened Heartland of Owerri.

Lobi Stars 2 – 1 Nasarawa United

Lobi Stars takes an important three points to boost their chances of escaping relegation.

Ifeanyi and Utim scored the two goals for the home side, while Tochukwu scored the consolation goal in the 90th minute.

What Next: Lobi Stars will host Katsina United at home and will be hoping to take all three points to escape relegation, while Nasarawa United will host second-place Plateau United

Heartland Owerri 2 – 1 Abia Warriors

In the first half, two goals were enough for Heartland of Owerri to get all three points against fellow relegated threatened team Abia Warriors.

It ended goalless in Akure as both teams took one point each.

Kwara United 2 – 1 Rivers United

Kwara United came from behind to defeat River United

Nelson Esor scored the first goal for the home team in the 2nd minute.

In the second half, the home side capitalized on a defensive error to level the score in the 57th minute through Samad Kadri, and then in the 75th minute, Jide Fatokun scored the winning goal.

Katsina United 1 – 0 Akwa United

Destiny Ashadi’s 57th-minute strike was enough to give the home side all three points.
