The Turkish champions held a three-goal advantage from the first leg after a dominant 5-2 win at the RAMS Park.

However, they fell apart as Juventus completed a sensational comeback despite being a man down to level the match and send the tie into extra-time.

Osimhen then scored for his side before Baris Alper Yilmaz added a second as Galatasaray advanced 7-5 on aggregate and avoid a stunning upset.

Galatasaray edge playoff tie despite fightback from Juventus

Galatasaray were favourites to advance from the tie as they held a three-goal advantage from the first leg.

Davinson Sanchez had an early header saved by Perin, before Koopmeiners headed over from a promising position for the hosts.

However, Juventus sparked an unlikely comeback after they took the lead in the first half from a well-taken penalty kick by Manuel Locatelli, which had been awarded for a foul by Lucas Torreira on Khephren Thuram.

Lloyd Kelly was then sent off for the home side early in the second half after picking up a dangerous booking, making their task much more difficult.

Federico Gatti scored a second, before Weston McKennie added a third to complete the fightback and stun the visitors, sending the game to extra-time.

Galatasaray then made their man advantage count in extra-time as they scored in first half stoppage-time through Osimhen, who finished clinically into the corner.

The Nigerian forward made history with the goal, as he became the foreign player with the most European competition goals in Galatasaray history with his 13th since joining the club, surpassing the likes of Milan Baros, Shabani Nonda on 12 each, Mario Jardel on 11 and Gheorghe Hagi on 12.

Yilmaz added a late second as Galatasaray advanced 7-5 on aggregate.
