Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has revealed his desire to see fellow Nigerians Ademola Lookman and Raphael Onyedika join Galatasaray during the January transfer window, SportPremi reports.

The 27-year-old joined the Turkish champions on an initial loan deal in 2024, before the deal was made permanent for €75 million last summer.
The club has been linked with a move for both Onyedika and Lookman over the last two transfer windows. Club Brugge have reportedly accepted a bid for the former, while the latter could also join the Lions this month.
Onyedika enjoyed an impressive spell at the 2025 AFCON tournament, where he scored twice and played a key part in the bronze medal match win over Egypt.
Lookman, meanwhile, earned a spot in the team of the tournament after a very remarkable showing for Nigeria. He scored three times and provided four assists, placing him as the player with the most goal contributions at the tournament.
However, his future at Atalanta remains uncertain. The 28-year-old submitted a transfer request last summer in a bid to force a move away from the club, but was denied an exit.
La Dea have already signed Giacomo Raspadori from Atletico Madrid, which could pave way for a potential exit for Lookman this month.
Osimhen speaks on Lookman, Onyedika links to Galatasaray
Victor Osimhen made his return to action for Galatasaray in their 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in Wednesday’s Champions League clash at the RAMS Park.
The Super Eagles star reflected on the Lions performance during his time away and expressed desire for both of his countrymen to join him this month.
“I can’t achieve anything without my teammates. It’s not true to say that we lost while I was away. There were matches we lost while I was there. We will continue to fight with my teammates. I don’t care that much about the last game we lost anymore. It’s done and it’s over. We will continue our struggle in the Champions League and the Super League. We will try to make Galatasaray bigger with my teammates”, Osimhen revealed.
“I talked to Onyedika during the African Nations Cup. I also talked to Lookman in the matches we played for the World Cup. I told the Galatasaray fans, how big a club we are and the beauty of the country. They are also adult people. They will make their decisions. It would be good for our club, our players and fans to come.
Onyedika is a very good actress. He plays very fluently. If he comes here, he will contribute a lot to us. Very talented player. I’m trying to convince them both. I would like them to come to one of the biggest clubs in the world and play with us”, the 27-year-old concluded.
With under two weeks to the end of the January transfer window, it remains to be seen if Galatasaray would complete a move in time for both players.
