As the games were played, different records were broken across the ten different centers. In this text, Sportspremi highlights nine interesting records that were either broken or made in the just-concluded game week.

Erling Braut Haaland and Pep Guardiola With Manchester City

Erling Haaland scored the only goal in Manchester City’s 1-0 win over Brentford at the Brentford Community Stadium on Sunday.

According to Opta, the big Norwegian has scored more away Premier League winning goals in 2025 (3) than Manchester United have away wins this calendar year (2).

The second milestone that Haaland made was scoring 94 Premier League goals under Pep Guardiola. This is the 10th most goals scored by a player for a manager in the competition’s history, despite him only featuring 104 times under the Spaniard so far.

Thirdly, Haaland’s goal against Brentford meant that he had scored 22 of the 23 Premier League stadiums he has played at. The highest ratio for any player in the history of the competition.

Haaland was not the only one who broke records last weekend. Pep Guardiola also won his 250th game in the Premier League. That is 250 wins in 349 Premier League matches with Manchester City (D50 L49).

According to Opta, this is the fastest any manager has ever reached 250 wins in charge of an English top-flight club.

Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, and Arsenal

Arsenal claimed a 2-0 win over West Ham on Saturday at the Emirates, thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka.

At 24 years and 29 days, Saka became the seventh-youngest player in Premier League history to reach 100 goal involvements and the youngest since Romelu Lukaku in February 2017 (23y 267d).

Also, coach Mikel Arteta became the joint-fourth (177) manager with the highest number of wins in his first 300 games.

Meanwhile, in a not so good record, Gunners skipper Martin Odegaard became the first player in Premier League history to be substituted before half time in three consecutive Premier League starts.

The Premier League will now go on a two-week break, as the international break takes center stage.
