The 2025/26 Europa League season kickstarted last week, with the revamped 36-team format in use for a second year, following its introduction last season.
Since its inception, multiple teams have made history by winning the competition, with English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur winning the 2024/25 final after a 1-0 win over Manchester United in the final in May.
Spanish side Sevilla have been a dominant force in this competition in recent years, but are they truly the club with the most wins in history?
In this article, SportPremi reveals the teams that have won the competitions the most times in history;
Tottenham Hotspur (Three titles)

With their lone goal victory over Man United in May, Tottenham Hotspur made history as they became only the sixth team in history with three or more titles. Spurs won the first-ever tournament, the UEFA Cup in 1971/72, while their second victory came in the 1983/84 season.
Atletico Madrid (Three titles)

Spanish side Atletico Madrid might have never won the UEFA Champions League in their history, but they have been crowned winners of the UEFA Europa League on three occasions.
A first win came in the 2009/10 season, before winning a second title just two seasons after in the 2011/12 edition. Los Colcheneros claimed a third title in 2017/18, defeating Marseille 3-0 in the final.
Liverpool (Three titles)

Liverpool are the most successful English club in European competitions and they have three Europa League titles among other trophies in their cabinet. The defending Premier League champions won the competition twice in 1972/73 and 1975/76 seasons, before adding a third title win in the 2000/01 season.
The Reds also missed a chance to add to their title haul in 2015/16, losing to Sevilla, who appear as number one on this stacked list.
Inter Milan (Three titles)

The Nerazzurri historically are one of the biggest teams in the world, achieving success across both the Champions League and the Europa League. They have won this competition thrice in their history, winning it in 1990/91, 1993/94 and a third in the 1997/98 season.
Juventus (Three titles)

Juventus made history in the 1992/93 season by becoming the first team to win the Europa League on three occasions. A first title came in the 1976/77 season, followed quickly by a second in the 1989/90 campaign.
Sevilla (Seven titles)

No team has won the Europa League more times than Sevilla, who have lifted the trophy seven times. They have exerted their dominance on the competition and have a 100% record in the finals, winning all their seven appearances. They are also the only side to have won three consecutive finals, achieving the three-peat between 2013 and 2016.
They won their seventh title most recently in the 2022/23 season, defeating Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma via penalties.
