Samuel Chukwueze came on as a second half substitute in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Jordan in the final match of their four-nation invitational tournament on Tuesday evening.

With that appearance, the Fulham winger made his 58th appearance for the national team, moving past Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Rashidi Yekini on 57.
Chukwueze equalled both legendary figures in the 2-1 win over Iran and now moved level with Kelechi Iheanacho on 58 caps for the Super Eagles.
The 26-year-old made his debut for the senior side in November 2018 and has scored seven goals since then, becoming a key member of the team.
Super Eagles held by Jordan in friendly match
Nigeria and Jordan played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Antalya, Turkey on Tuesday, putting an end to their participation at the four-nation invitational tournament.
Jordan took the lead in the first half through Musa Al-Taamari, but the Super Eagles hit back, scoring twice in the first half to take the lead heading into the interval.

Moses Simon first scored to level matters, before Emmanuel Fernandez opened his account for the Nigerian national team with the second.
However, Jordan equalized later in the second half, before Nigeria had Alex Iwobi sent off later in the game with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.
What next for Chukwueze?
Chukwueze will now return to Fulham where he will be hoping to help the Cottagers target qualification for Europe ahead of next season.
The Super Eagles forward’s future remains uncertain however, as his loan spell will end at the end of the current season and the London club are yet to take a decision over signing him on a permanent deal.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals and provided four assists so far this season and will be hoping to his tally before the end of the season.
