Adams and Ejuke Score in Sevilla rout

Nigerian forward Akor Adams got the nod to start once more, while Chidera Ejuke started the game from the bench, with both players poised to join their country this week for the 2025 African Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco.

It took only four minutes for Adams to make a mark, firing the hosts ahead after receiving a pass from Lucien Agouma.

One became two in the 22nd minute as Sevilla made their dominance count when Djibril Sow extended their advantage.

The hosts wasted several other efforts to add to the scoreline as it remained 2-0 into the first half break.

Sevilla picked up right from where they left in the second half as Adams turned provider this time with a brilliant flick for Batista Mendy, who showed great skill and composure to score.

David Carmo was then sent off in the 83rd minute for a second bookable offense, before substitute Ejuke grabbed a fourth for his side after a brilliant solo run.

Los Rojiblancos sealed the comfortable win over Real Oviedo and move closer to an European spot.
