Three-time Ballon d’Or winner Michel Platini ranks as number five on the list of France’s all-time scoring chart with 41 goals from 72 caps.

The former UEFA President was a prolific goalscorer during his playing career and was instrumental in France’s success at the 1984 European Championships, netting nine times- the most goals in a single edition.

Now retired, Antoine Griezmann was an important member and led a dominant France side, scoring 44 times in 137 appearances.

The former Arsenal and Chelsea striker made his debut for Les Bleus in November 2011 against the United States and announced his retirement after the 2024 European Championships.

Giroud’s record is under threat, with Mbappé’s incredible scoring form bringing him ever closer to the top.
