UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draws: Osimhen’s Galatasaray face rematch with Liverpool, Lookman’s Atletico face Tottenham

The 2025–26 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 draw took place on Friday, with teams learning their opponents on the path to the final in Budapest.

Victor Osimhen and Galatasaray, who overcame Italian side Juventus 7-5 on aggregate in the playoffs round face a rematch against English giants Liverpool.

Both teams previously faced off during the league-phase, as the Super Eagles forward scored a winning penalty to give his side the win.

Should Galatasaray advance to the quarterfinal stage, they will face the winner of the clash between Chelsea and defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman and Atletico Madrid also face another English opposition, with a two-legged clash against 2025 Europa League champions Tottenham Hotspur.

The winner of the clash will then advance to the last eight to face either Newcastle United or Barcelona.
