They had several other chances to add to their tally, but were denied by De Gregorio in the visitors’ goal.
Then, Teun Koopmeiners was on hand to tap home the equalizer for Juventus, before De Gregorio then denied Galatasaray the lead once again, saving from an Osimhen’s header.
Koopmeiners grabbed his second of the match to put Juventus ahead with a good finish, as they took a 2-1 lead into the first half break.
Galatasaray came back roaring after the break and immediately drew level on terms through Noa Lang, who scored his first goal for the club with an easy finish.
Sanchez then headed home a freekick from Sara to put them ahead in the clash in the 60th minute.
A mistake at the back by the Old Lady allowed Osimhen to nick the ball, which fell into the path of Lang who fired in his second of the day and Galatasaray’s fourth.
There was still time for Osimhen to add another assist, laying the ball for substitute Sacha Boey, who then finished into the net to give his side a 5-2 advantage.
Galatasaray sealed the win and head into next Wednesday’s second leg clash with a massive advantage.
