Victor Osimhen was in sensational form as Galatasaray returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Alanyaspor in Saturday’s Turkish Super League clash.

The Lions had suffered defeats in their last two games across all competitions, including a shock 2-0 defeat to Konyaspor last weekend.
Osimhen, who had missed the encounter with a minor issue, scored once and provided another assist as the champions extended their lead at the top of the standings.
Osimhen shines in Galatasaray win
Galatasaray had seen their lead at the top of the standings reduced to just two points and needed to return to winning ways heading into the league run-in.
They thought they had the lead in the 22nd minute when Sacha Boey opened the scoring, but the goal was ruled out for offside in the buildup.
Baris Alper Yilmaz then went close, but was denied by the post, before Boey finally got his goal in first half stoppage-time.
The French international got on the end of a pass from Lucas Torreira and fired into the bottom corner to give his side a 1-0 lead heading into the break
It took just four minutes for Alanyaspor to equalize in the second half, when Steve Mounie fired into the net.
Wilfried Zingo then rattled the post from a freekick, before Galatasaray went back in front when Osimhen found Torreira who scored to give them a 2-1 scoreline.
The Nigerian forward finally got on the scoresheet after an error at the back, giving the champions a 3-1 advantage with his 10th league goal of the season.
They sealed the win and moved up to 58 points, five above second placed Fenerbahce, who face Antalyaspor later on Sunday.
What next?
Galatasaray will face Alanyaspor once again for the second time in four days, this time in the Turkish Cup on Tuesday.
