Victor Osimhen has warned Galatasaray of the threat posed by Liverpool ahead of their Champions League Round of 16 first leg showdown on Tuesday.

The Turkish champions welcome the Premier League champions to RAMS Park for the second time this season, when both teams clash for the chance to progress to the last eight.
Osimhen netted the only goal of the clash from the penalty spot when both teams faced during the league phase earlier in the campaign in a 1-0 win for Galatasaray.
While Liverpool finished in the top eight and qualified automatically for the Round of 16, Galatasaray had to go through the playoff phase to reach this stage.
The Lions defeated Italian side Juventus 7-5 on aggregate, after almost letting a 5-2 advantage from the first leg slip in the return fixture.
Osimhen wary of Liverpool threat
Speaking ahead of the crucial UCL tie against Liverpool on Tuesday, Osimhen who has netted seven times in the Champions League this season for Galatasaray, believes Liverpool will pose an entirely different threat than his side faced in previous rounds.
“Liverpool are a very big team. We’ll be playing at home. If we are careful, we can do well, even if it’s not easy. All matches in the Champions League are tough. We will fight to do well”, Osimhen said.
The Nigerian forward scored the only goal as Galatasaray continued their title defence in the Turkish league with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Besiktas last weekend and was pleased with his side’s display in the encounter.
“I’m following my coach’s instructions. There were team-mates who excited and motivated me. After the goal, they called me back to defence. I love this club very much. I’m proud of my team”, Osimhen continued.
“We’re showing unity. We need to take it game by game. This win will give us strength. We need to keep our feet on the ground.”
Galatasaray welcome Liverpool to Turkey for the first leg of their last 16 clash in the Champions League on Tuesday, with kickoff at 6:45 PM.
