Vitor Pereira has been announced as the new head coach of Premier League club Nottingham Forest on an 18-month deal, SportPremi reports.

The former Wolves manager has joined the club on a deal until the end of the 2026-27 season and becomes their fourth permanent manager of the season.
Nottingham Forest have also become the first club in Premier League history to have four permanent manager in a single season.
Pereira joins as a replacement for Sean Dyche, who was sacked last week after a dismal goalless draw against Wolves, despite managing 35 attempts in the clash.
The Tricky Trees have also won just two of their last 10 matches and are 17th on the Premier League standings, just three points above West Ham United in 18th place.
The club are in a battle for survival despite heavy investments in the summer and also during the winter transfer window and need Pereira to steady the ship as they hope to maintain their top-flight status.
Forest have also sacked Nuno Espirito Santo this season, while Ange Postecoglou lasted just 39 days after winning none of his eight games in charge.
Pereira has enjoyed a successful managerial career across multiple European countries, having previously coached the likes of Porto, Olympiacos, Fenerbahce, Flamengo and the likes.
The 57-year-old will now work with Super Eagles duo Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi at the club, having previously worked with another Nigerian star, Tolu Arokodare, during his time at Wolves.
Nottingham Forest appoint Vitor Pereira as new head coach
In a statement on Sunday, Forest announced the arrival of the Portuguese on an 18-month deal, replacing Dyche, who was dismissed last week.
“Nottingham Forest is delighted to confirm that Vitor Pereira has been appointed as head coach on an 18-month deal”, the statement said.
“He will be joined by coaching staff Filipe Jorge Monteiro Almeida (assistant coach), Luis Miguel Moreira Da Silva (assistant coach), Bruno Filipe Araujo De Moura (head of physical performance and opposition analysis) and Pedro Simao Capela Silva Lopes (opposition analyst).”
Pereira’s first game in charge will be against his former club Fenerbahce, as Nottingham Forest travel to the Turkish giants for the first leg of their Europa League playoff clash.
He will then welcome Liverpool to the City Ground three days later in his first league match in charge, hoping to overturn the club’s poor form.
