Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim has expressed his satisfaction with their 2-1 victory over Liverpool at the Anfield Stadium on Sunday, SportPremi reports.
Going into their game against Liverpool on Sunday, Manchester United had not won at Anfield in ten years.

So, it was highly unlikely that they were going to beat Liverpool, especially with their quality and status as Premier League champions.
However, Manchester giants shocked them. Bryan Mbeumo scored the opener after just 63 seconds.
But even though Liverpool were the favourites, the Red Devils matched everything they brought to the table in the first half. They could have even scored more goals, but their profligacy in the final third.
Things changed in the second half, as Liverpool increased their intensity due to their search for the equalizer. They eventually got it in the 78th minute, courtesy of Cody Gakpo.
But their joy did not last. Harry Maguire put a dagger in the hearts of the Reds with a goal for Manchester United in the 84th minute.

Liverpool pushed hard for the equalizer in the dying embers of the game, but they did not get it, as the Red Devils held on tightly to their lead and saw out the win.
After the final whistle, the joy was evident in the players’ faces, as they celebrated like they had just won a trophy.
What Ruben Amorim Said About Manchester United’s Win
Following the win over Liverpool, Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim expressed his satisfaction with the result. But he noted that it was just another win, and they needed to get their heads back into the game.

“I think that was the biggest win in my time at Manchester United. It means a lot today, but tomorrow it won’t mean a lot. It’s three points and it’s a good victory,” Amorim said.
“We fought for every ball, but we lost our composure in the second half. The spirit was there and that is the most important thing. If you have the spirit, you can win any game.”
Next up for the Red Devils is a game against Brighton at Old Trafford next week, and they will be looking to build on their momentum and claim another victory.
