Paris Saint-Germain claimed a comfortable 4–1 victory away at Saint-Étienne, with Nigerian midfielder Jennifer Echegini once again making her mark for the French giants.

PSG started sharply and took control early in the match. Sakina Karchaoui opened the scoring with a fine strike in the 6th minute, and Romée Leuchter converted from the penalty spot just before halftime. Saint-Étienne were reduced to ten players moments later, leaving the home side with a mountain to climb.

Although Saint-Étienne pulled one back through Laura Munk Hermann’s penalty, PSG stayed composed. Isabela restored the two-goal cushion in the 80th minute with a close-range header after good work from Merveille Kanjinga.
Echegini seals the win in added time
The highlight for Nigerian fans came deep into stoppage time. Jennifer Echegini, who had been lively throughout the second half, made her late run count, placing a low right-footed finish into the bottom corner after being picked out by Élisa De Almeida.
Her goal wrapped up the victory and underlined her growing influence in the PSG midfield.
Echegini also came close earlier with a header that narrowly missed and a powerful shot that forced a save from the goalkeeper.
The Super Falcons midfielder now has 2 goals and 1 assist this season across all competitions.
