Onuachu hails superb display
Speaking after the match, Paul Onuachu, who has hit top form back in the league after a difficult spell in England, was impressed his side’s overall performance.
“It’s always good to win and we’re happy with the three points, but I think there’s a lot of work to do”, Onuachu said.
“I’m just happy for the three points and Basaksehir played good even though they were down to 10 men and at the end of the day we fought back and got the three points .”
On his own performance
“I mean you know with one man down as a striker there’s not much to do, you just have to find space and get a goal for the team because Basaksehir is one man down”, he continued.
“At the end of the day, we scored a crucial penalty and I’m very happy for the team.”
Trabzonspor resume action next weekend when they host Konyaspor in the league as the hope to close the gap to the top two.
