Fenerbahçe defender Milan Škriniar says his team must show aggression to contain the threat of Galatasaray’s strike duo, Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi, ahead of Monday’s showdown, SportPremi reports.

The top two teams in the Turkish Super League face-off on Monday at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Monday, in a crucial encounter that could play a big role in determining the league winners.

The 26-year-old has been in sensational form for club and country this season, netting 14 times from 17 appearances and will be a huge goal threat if he features in the clash.
Icardi, meanwhile, has also stepped up for the Turkish champions and has netted seven times in the league this season.
Both players would be a handful for the Fenerbahce defense, in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
Everything Skriniar said
Milan Skriniar was Mauro Icardi’s teammate at Inter Milan and had previously faced off against Osimhen, who played for Napoli in the Italian Serie A.
The Slovakian left a lasting mark on Osimhen literally. as the Nigerian striker has worn a protective mask ever since their 2021 clash of heads during an Inter vs Napoli match, a collision that knocked him unconscious and required surgery.
“We talked about Galatasaray for the first time today. We will have video analysis meetings tomorrow. We have never talked about this match until today because the match that is always important to us is the next match. Icardi and Osimhen are also very good scorers. What we have to do is be compact, aggressive, and be together so we can stop them”, Milan Skriniar revealed.
On what to expect from the match
“The matches Inter played against Milan and Juventus in San Siro were always the matches I can call ‘magic’. But I can say that the atmosphere here is more crazy and noisy.
“I only played against them in the home cup match. The team was not in a very good situation in that cup match either. Now I know this situation will be different. I know the fans will support us for 90 minutes. We need them a lot”, the Fenerbahce defender added.
Fenerbahce are winless in their last three games against Galatasaray and will need a great performance to come out of tomorrow’s clash with a favorable result.
