Wolves manager Rob Edwards has praised his side’s resilience after they held Nottingham Forest to a goalless draw at the City Ground in Wednesday night’s Premier League clash, SportPremi reports.

The Premier League bottom side sealed a valuable away point that will boost their confidence and help their faint hopes of survival this season.
The West Midlands club move up to nine points on the standings and with just 12 matches remaining, they must take every available point to beat the drop.
Tale of the match
Nottingham Forest and Wolves both needed to win the match to boost their survival chances as the league entered its business end.
Tolu Arokodare started for Wolves once again after his goal against Chelsea in their weekend clash, while Ola Aina also got the nod to start for the home side.
The hosts dominated the clash, but were unable to convert their dominance into goals as multiple players missed goalscoring opportunities.
Forest ended the first half with 16 attempts, while Wolves’ had only a few attempts, one of which was a header from Arokodare which flew wide of the target.
The home side continued their dominance in the second half but could bot break down a stubborn Wolves defence.
The Tricky Trees ended the game with 35 attempts without a goal, as both sides shared the spoils in a one-sided affair.
In the aftermath of the clash, Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis dismissed manager Sean Dyche, who spent just 114 days at the club.
What Rob Edwards said
Speaking after the game, Edwards who had lashed out at his team for their mistakes in previous outing, praised their defensive display this time around as they secured a valuable point away from home.
“Clearly, we didn’t play great, but showed loads of other fighting qualities and battling qualities that you need to show regardless of however you play. There’s no doubt they were better”, Edwards stated.
“But no one can question the lads’ commitment and effort and fighting spirit. Some of the football and the decisions we made and the quality at times that we showed, we can question. But the other side of the game, the stuff that needs to be there was.”
Wolves return to action on Sunday when they face Grimsby Town in the FA Cup fourth round, before another clash against Arsenal at the Molineux next Wednesday in a rescheduled fixture.
