Alex Iwobi was the star of the show with a goal and an assist as Fulham eased to a 3-1 win at Sunderland in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Nigerian midfielder provided the assist for Raul Jimenez’s opener, before scoring his side’s third of the game to cap off a brilliant performance.
Fulham moved up to 10th on the standings with 37 points after recording their 11th league win of the campaign, boosting their hopes of securing an European spot at the end of the season.
Iwobi and Bassey shines in Fulham win
Super Eagles duo Iwobi and Calvin Bassey started for Fulham while Samuel Chukwueze was injured and unavailable for selection.
After a quiet first 45 minutes, the game sprung into life in the 54th minute as Jimenez headed home from a corner kick by Iwobi to give his side the lead.
The Cottagers were then awarded a penalty kick after a VAR review for a foul after Brian Brobbey had pulled the shirt of Bassey inside the area.
Jimenez stepped up and converted from 12 yards to maintain his 100 percent record in the Premier League, having scored all of his 13 attempts.
Sunderland were given a lifeline as they were awarded a penalty of their own when Ballard was brought down by Ryan Sessegnon, with Enzo Le Fee converting to make it 2-1 despite the best efforts of Bernd Leno.
However, Iwobi grabbed a third and sealed the win after a superb counterattack, finishing off after he was played on by Harry Wilson.
Fulham sealed the 3-1 win and moved into the top half of the standings.
