Osimhen continues fine form for Galatasaray

Osimhen was in fine form once again for Galatasaray as they recorded a 3-0 win over Istanbul Basaksehir in the Turkish league on Saturday.

The Nigerian striker grabbed the second goal of the game and made history by becoming the first player to be involved in a goal in nine consecutive league matches in the Turkish Super League.

He took his tally for the season to 12 in the league, although he is still a long way from catching compatriot Paul Onuachu, who currently tops the golden boot charts with 21.

The 27-year-old will be hoping for another goalscoring display when Galatasaray head to Liverpool in midweek for the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 encounter.
