Coventry City midfielder Frank Onyeka has expressed disappointment after his side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Southampton on Saturday, halting their momentum.

The Sky Blues had won six consecutive matches before suffering their first defeat since January and their seventh of the league season, as their lead at the top of the Championship was cut to seven points.
It also marked a first defeat for Onyeka in a Coventry City jersey, although they will be eager to bounce back to winning ways as they eye automatic promotion.
Onyeka lose for first time with Coventry City
Nigerian midfielder Onyeka joined Coventry during the winter transfer window on loan from Premier League side Brentford until the end of the season and started once again on Saturday against Southampton.
The hosts went close with several attempts, but it was the Saints who broke the deadlock in the 48th minute as Flynn Downes tapped home a rebound on his 100th appearance for the club.
Kuryu Matsuki added a second in the 85th minute, before Victor Torp converted a penalty in stoppage-time to set up a tense finish.
However, Southampton held on to move closer to a playoff spot, while Coventry will hope to bounce back after a first defeat since January.
What Onyeka said after Coventry defeat to Southampton
Speaking after the clash, Onyeka expressed disappointment after his side lost for the first time since his arrival, which also ended their winning momentum.
“It was a good game, but unfortunately, we could not get our win today. We had lots of chances which didn’t go in. It’s just one of those days. We have to pick ourselves up and go into the next game”, Onyeka said.
“The defeat isn’t something any player wants, but again, it’s one of those days where we have to accept what has happened and use it to fuel us in the next game.
“When we scored, we thought it was time to go for a point, but at the same time, there were other chances. “It’s disappointing, but there’s nothing to dwell on here.
“I love playing here. From my first day at the club, I knew it was right. They welcomed me well, and I had my son here”, he concluded.
Coventry City will return to action on Saturday when they face Swansea, hoping to bounce back with a victory.
