The Super Eagles will face Portugal and Poland in two international friendly matches in June, according to reports from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).

The African giants head into the clash on the back of two international friendlies against Iran and Jordan during the March break, in a four-nation invitational tournament.
The tournament which took place in Antalya, Turkey saw the Super Eagles defeat Iran 2-1 in their opening encounter, before recording a 2-2 draw against Jordan in their second and final game.
The three-time African champions also retained their 26th spot in the FIFA World Rankings released on Wednesday, while they are also ranked third in Africa behind Morocco and Senegal.

Nigeria, who will not be participating in the tournament after missing out on qualification, will face the two European nations few weeks until the commencement of the tournament.
Portugal will use the friendly as part of their preparations for facing an African opponent, the Democratic Republic of Congo, in the group stage of the World Cup, while Poland will not be involved after their playoff final defeat to Sweden on Tuesday.
Nigeria previously faced Portugal ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, with the European side claiming a 4-0 victory.
The Super Eagles will first face Poland in Warsaw on June 3, before meeting the Portuguese side on June 10.
Meanwhile, they will also compete in the 2026 Unity Cup in May, as they look to defend the title they won in 2025 after defeating Jamaica in the final.

Nigeria will compete against two of Europe top teams in June, which would be a great test of their abilities as head coach Eric Chelle will have the opportunity to test most of his players against some of the best players in the world.
The Super Eagles should have first-choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali back, while Victor Osimhen should also be available after he missed the last international break with an arm injury.
