According to reports, Chelsea is planning a dual acquisition strategy, targeting Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney as part of Mauricio Pochettino’s efforts to bolster the team’s attacking options.

Meanwhile, Ivan Toney has been a subject of widespread speculation, expressing his desire for a “new challenge” in 2024 amid interest from London rivals Arsenal. Although he hasn’t played in the Premier League since May due to disciplinary issues related to betting, his eight-month ban is set to conclude in January. Brentford’s manager, Thomas Frank, has indicated they are open to a sale, with an £80 million price tag, as reported by the Evening Standard.
In the midst of these transfer discussions, Chelsea gaffer Mauricio Pochettino has stated he wants to play a more prominent role in the club’s transfer policy during his second transfer window with the team.
