Jose Mourinho’s team AS Roma are keen on signing Mason Greenwood after his exit from Man United.

Man United confirmed on Monday that Mason Greenwood will leave the club by mutual agreement following the conclusion of a six-month internal investigation into his conduct.

In this period, Greenwood’s return to training at Carrington remains on hold, pending the club’s deliberations regarding a potential permanent sale or loan arrangement. It’s also worth noting that his current contract is set to expire in 2025.

A new report claims that one location could become an option.

According to talkSPORT, Roma ‘would consider’ signing Greenwood from Manchester United on a permanent deal.

AS Roma, managed by former Man United gaffer Jose Mourinho, are one club believed to be ready to give Greenwood a chance to revive his career. The pair know each other from the former’s time at United, and it was Jose Mourinho who promoted Greenwood to Man United’s first-team for the first time.

Mason Greenwood presents a promising solution to the void up front caused by Tammy Abraham’s unfortunate long-term knee injury, bolstering the club’s lineup, which already includes former United defender Chris Smalling.
