Dakkada FC 1 – 2 Niger Tornadoes

Dakkada poor form in the league continues as Niger Tornadoes triumph away from home.

The away team player David Okwori scored the opening goal as early as in the 3rd minute, then Jonas Emmanuel doubled the lead in the 13th minute to take a two goals lead in the first half.

In the second half the home team tried to comeback from behind but the away side were strong defensively, Aniekan Ekpe scored a consolation goal in the 90+5th minute.

What Next: Dakkada will face Bayelsa United away from home on match-day 11, while Niger Tornadoes will host Wikki Tourist.

Enugu Rangers 2 – 1 Bayelsa United

7th placed Enugu Rangers came back from behind with a brace from Godwin Obaje, who slotted two penalties in the 48th, and in the 90th minute, relegated threatened Bayelsa United 13th minute goal from Alex Oyowah wasn’t enough to hold Enugu Rangers.

What Next: Enugu Rangers will be hosted by Abia Warriors on match-day 11, while Bayelsa United will travel to Uyo to play against Dakkada, who will be looking to move up the bottom of the NPFL group B table.

Akwa United 2 – 0 Shooting Stars

Group B second-placed Akwa United won at the Nest of Champions against Shooting Stars, who have won just one game out of their last five.

Ubong Friday scored the opening goal in the 53rd minute, he fired a terrific shot beyond the goalkeeper, then Taye Muritala doubled the lead in the 55th minute.

What Next: Akwa United will travel away to face the first-place side of Bendel Insurance, while Shooting Stars will host Plateau United on Group A matchday 11.

Enyimba 1 – 1 Bendel Insurance

A late goal from Imade Osarenkhoe helped Bendel Insurance earn a 1-1 draw at Enyimba.

The away side finished the NPFL 2022/2023 first round without a defeat (7 wins, 2 Draws) and started the second round with a sensational draw against Enyimba.

What Next: Enyimba will host Nasarawa United on Group A match-day 11 while Bendel Insurance will travel to the Nest of Champions to face Akwa United.

Kwara United 2 – 0 El Kanemi Warriors

Plateau United 2 – 0 Gombe United
