NPFL side Abia Warriors announce Coach Imama Amapakabo’s departure after the expiration of his two-year contract.

The club published a statement of the departure of Amapakabo on their Twitter handle, the club thanked him for the services rendered and wished him well in his future assignments.

Abia Warriors during Imama Amapakabo’s tenure with the team played their home matches in Okigwe stadium, Imo state due to the unpleasant condition of their home ground stadium, the Umuahia township stadium.

According to news making the rounds the former league winner Imama Amapakabo are the names being mentioned by Shooting Stars management to replace Edith Agoye.

The management of Shooting Stars of Ibadan is reportedly considering firing Edith Agoye and appointing Imama Amapakabo as a replacement ahead of next season.
