According to CBS Sports, the United States men’s national team star Gio Reyna is expected to miss the rest of the European domestic season due to a torn tendon.
Dortmund midfielder Gio Reyna was seen holding his hamstring after battling with his previous injuries, he came off just minutes into his team’s 2-0 win over Stuttgart on Friday, and he left the peach showing obvious emotions as he made his way down the tunnel.
Gio Reyna’s season has been disrupted by hamstring injuries which forced him to miss lots of matches for his club side Dortmund and the US men’s national team.
Reyna’s problems with hamstring injuries all started when Reyna suffered a hamstring injury in the US Men’s National Team’s first 2022 World Cup qualifier in El Salvador which forced miss more than five months of action.

With the 2022 World Cup coming in the winter and not in the summer, he isn’t at risk of missing the tournament.
It’s unclear if he will be fit in time for the Nations League starting this summer.
The USMNT was placed in Group B alongside England, Iran and a European playoff winner yet to be determined.
