Liverpool is rumored to have reached an agreement with Napoli’s striker, Victor Osimhen, paving the way for his anticipated move to Anfield in 2024.

Reports suggest that Liverpool has successfully secured an agreement with the prolific striker.

Various teams, like Chelsea, Arsenal, and clubs from the Saudi Pro League, have been associated with a possible transfer for the talented Nigerian forward. However, Liverpool has recently surged ahead as the leading contender.

According to information obtained from Italian journalist Valter De Maggio (via Sport Witness), Liverpool has reached an agreement on personal terms with the player and is now poised to commence negotiations with Serie A champions to determine the transfer fee.

“The parties had reached an agreement for the renewal, but then Calenda and Osimhen went back on their word. What happened? There was the inclusion of another club, from the Premier League. I’m talking about Liverpool,”

“There would be frequent contacts, but I just learned something else: there would be agreements already reached. Let me clarify: the agreements would be between the Reds and the player, therefore they would not involve Napoli. I hope Laurentiis will be able to keep Victor Osimhen at least until June, but we can’t be sure.”

Victor Osimhen’s remarkable record of 31 goals in 39 matches last season solidifies his status among the finest strikers in Europe.

Despite earlier reports suggesting a preliminary agreement on a contract extension with Napoli, Osimhen has experienced a change of heart – potentially influenced by the social media ridicule he faced when he missed a penalty.

A significant factor in this shift of perspective is Liverpool’s keen interest, as confirmed by Italian journalist Valter De Maggio. Osimhen and his agent, Roberto Calendar, appear to have been swayed after engaging in discussions with the Premier League team.
