Former England and Manchester United Legend Wayne Rooney has laughed off Cristiano Ronaldo’s suggestion that the former England striker is jealous of the Man United star.

Wayne Rooney on a Monday Night Show on Sky Sports claimed his former teammate has not worked out for Manchester United despite Ronaldo being United’s top scorer this season.

Ronaldo hit back at Wayne Rooney by Commenting “Jealous” on Rooney’s Instagram post, which suggest his former teammate Rooney is jealous of him.

What was Rooney’s Response?

While speaking at a press conference ahead of Derby County’s next game against Swansea away from home, Rooney was asked about his thoughts on Ronaldo’s comment labeling him “Jealous”

Rooney reacted by saying:

“I saw that this morning.

I’d say there’s probably not a footballer on the planet who isn’t jealous of Cristiano.

“The career he’s had, the trophies he’s won, the money he’s earned… his six pack! Every player except Lionel Messi is jealous of Cristiano.”
