Cristiano Ronaldo was left fuming as his side lost to Everton at Goodison Park in a crucial game they needed all three points in the race for Champions League qualification.
After the end of the match videos have been circulating on social media of the United star Ronaldo smashing an Everton fan phone while he was on his way to the dressing room, but the video seems unclear as some quarters of Manchester United fans claimed it was Ronaldo shin pad as he’s seen holding just one.
Manchester United spoke to ESPN and said that they “are investigating the incident but state that it is not clear what happened or that it was intentional.”

It was not a good day for Ronaldo and his United teammates, Manchester United has won just one game out of their last five EPL games, and as a result of this Manchester United might miss out on a Champions League spot.
David de Gea said Manchester United’s loss to Everton was ‘a disgrace’ after failing to defeat a relegated threatened Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday night.
“We don’t even create proper chances to score. I don’t know what to say, to be honest.
‘We’re not good enough, that’s for sure. It’s going to be very difficult now to be in the top four.’
