Cristiano Ronaldo was left fuming as his side lost to Everton at Goodison Park in a crucial game they needed all three points in the race for Champions League qualification.
After the end of the match videos have been circulating on social media of the United star Ronaldo smashing an Everton fan phone while he was on his way to the dressing room, but the video seems unclear as some quarters of Manchester United fans claimed it was Ronaldo shin pad as he’s seen holding just one.
Manchester United spoke to ESPN and said that they “are investigating the incident but states that it is not clear what happened or that it was intentional.”
